Hi,
I discover
Automate for Android, this nifty tools can turn any android into a powerfull automation device
I
share a flow that will allow to restart the keypad if the connection is lost with it and halarm, it can also send SMS in case of alarm !

That will strengh the keypad reliabilty and avoid the need of a GSM shield
The feature will be available in next release. Still working on it..

Hey,
I changed the code : now only monitored keypad devices by Automate may auto shutdown if it is not responding.
Obviously it should not happen, thanks to the flow hAlarm will respawn.
You can also use Automate to send SMS via your keypad.

Set your logger IP, your keypad identification and your phone number.

Rewrited to allow keypad(s) going in sleep mode. They will wake or sleep via cloud messages.
See the script to set-it up (link to google account).

Hi,
I have some issue using a Miui Xiaomi keypad, some android devices have some sort of energy saver app that kill apps.
Sadly they disable Automate/Google services running in background and didn't allow to do his job if it dosen't run in foreground.

Check
that website for tricks. In my case i also have to allow "Start in background" and "Show on lock screen"
Google Play services for instants apps.
