Should be

Code: Select all

d /run/lock 0777 root root -
L /var/lock - - - - ../run/lock
Save and reboot
/run is a tmpfs, it mean changing the permission won't survive a reboot (please read what i say)

No because i don't know if this trick is available on every distros and the formatting may vary. Hence why if put a e.g.
d is directory
L is a link (no need to set perms there)
/run is a tmpfs (no need to change perms there)
123s is simple as i can, Linux is not, people should invest a bit of themself
