Aurora Communication problems

Post by giufiore » Mon Dec 23, 2019 3:54 pm

Good evening.
I use 123Solar on raspberry PI with an Power One inverter since many years without problem.
Today I have had the happy idea to upgrade the ArchLinuxArm after more than one year.... sigh
After many hours everything seems to work except 123solar communication with the inverter, if I try Aurora from consolle the inverter correctly answers, but the test in the 123solar configuration fails.

Help me, I tried everything....
I add some debug information

Thank you very much, I apologize for my bad english

I could change only "PrivateDevices=false", I can't find "CapabilityBoundingSet=CAP_SETGID CAP_SETUID CAP_CHOWN"
The test communication in the inverter configuratior is OK now (it shows the values)
But the 123solar web page don't show anything.

One step was done :-)

I have to wait for tomorrow, the sun has gone ...

Thanks

Which version do you have ? php -v, check also systemctl status php-fpm for details
You shoud see down bellow systemctl edit --full php-fpm.service
...
# Required for dropping privileges and running as a different user
CapabilityBoundingSet=CAP_SETGID CAP_SETUID CAP_CHOWN
...
Also check permissions in /var/lock (ls -al /var/lock) it should be 777

all seem good, let see tomorrow.
If you have issue, turn off 123s and try to request this test.php

Code: Select all

<?php
$com = "aurora -a 2 -c -T -Y3 -l4 -d0 -e /dev/ttyUSB0";
//$com = "ls -al /dev/";
//exec("touch /var/lock/LCK..test 2>&1", $datareturn);

$datareturn = trim(implode($datareturn));
echo $datareturn;
?>

Good morning,
good news today. The sun has come out and the logger is working.
I have no idea why, but better this way. :D
Probably, yesterday evening after the changes, the light was already low.

Thanks for the support.

Giuseppe

For completeness (maybe it may be useful to someone) before the problem mentioned above, my raspberry (after upgrade) was unable to synchronize the time anymore.
I solved the problem with this command line

Code: Select all

echo 'DNSSEC=false' >> /etc/systemd/resolved.conf
as explained in this post https://archlinuxarm.org/forum/viewtopi ... 31&t=13871

Merry Christmas to all :wave: :wave:

Giuseppe
